This 1-day Basic Training Revalidation course meets the minimum standard of competence for Basic Training PROVIDED that the individual has at least 360 DAYS of QUALIFYING SEA SERVICE in the last 5 years on vessels that are REQUIRED to hold regular fire, emergency, and abandon ship drills, and has been previously certified per Section A-VI/1 of the STCW Code.</b> For U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential holders. Sea time on recreational vessels that are not subject to STCW must submit actual proof of drills. TRLMI’s Basic Safety Revalidation course satisfies applicable requirements for continued competency in STCW Basic Training required every five years for mariners sailing under the STCW requirements.

Please Note: This course requires that you participate in practical assessments: Live Fire Competencies, Personal Survival Competencies.
